The Game's album cover sparks controversy.

Game released a controversial artwork of hes upcoming studio album "Jesus Piece"  via Instagram on 21st October 2012, he also announced the release date will be 11th December 2012. The cover shows a black Jesus in a stained glass window with a teardrop tattoo, red bandanna around his mouth, and he is wearing a Jesus piece. The stained glass-inspired image shows Jesus sitting on a throne adorned with gang-affiliated symbols. In the artwork Jesus is holding a gold "Jesus Piece" chain and pointing to a symbol on his breast plate. The red bandana over his mouth, references to the Compton Bloods gang, a gang which Game is allegedly member of. The artwork has a slightly altered logo on the top, which feature on all of previous Game's studio albums. The albums title Jesus Piece is stylized as Je5us Piece, depicting that it is Game's fifth studio album. "Je5us Piece" logo is styled after the iconic Louis Vuitton.

This however was met by mixed feelings by Game's fans on Twitterville. Here are some of the tweets:

Seems like The Game is also a twitter thug looking at hes responses hahaha. In terms of marketing Game did a great job. Similar to Wiz Khalifa's album cover, it got people talking and any publicity is better than no publicity so respect to the hommie Game. Hate it or love it, The Game is back. So dont f#*k around sahn!!!!!!
